West Tampa Public Library

This historical restoration project consisted of three phases: .

• Phase 1 - The exterior preservation of the existing 2,800 sq. ft. library. This phase consisted of brick and stone restoration and a new roof. .

• Phase 2 - 5,000 sq. ft. addition, which was designed to complement the historic library with high arched windows with similar brick and stone details. The addition provided a new entry and elevator access to the existing library. .

• Phase 3 - Once the library addition was complete, the current collection and staff was moved into the new facility, and the existing library was converted into a community meeting room. The existing windows were replaced to historically match the original windows and the interior finishes were also restored
